The ROMlight SmartROM Series of eHID ballasts incorporate an advanced electronic power supply technology that increases reliability
Ideally suited for fixture upgrade or
remotely mounted applications.
Advantages of the ROMlight SmartROM eHID ballast series:
- Contains a wide range of wattages-
- 175, 200, 250, 320, 350, 400, 450 watts – MH
- 100, 150, 200, 250, 400 watts - HPS
- Compact design and higher allowable case temperature (85° C) allows
retrofitting magnetic ballast in existing fixture with SmartROM ballast. - Remote mounting distance greatly increased to 50 feet (15 meters)
- Retains 0-10VDC Analog Control and Digital Serial Control
- Phone jacks replaced with more reliable control wire connection.

Ideally suited for fixture upgrade.
Advantages of the ROMlight LoWatt eHID ballast series:
- Contains a range of wattages-
- 50, 70, 100, 150 watts – MH
- 150 - HPS
- Compact design and higher allowable case temperature (85° C) allows replacing magnetic ballast in existing fixture.
- Retains 0-10VDC Analog Control

The ROMbox Remote Mounting eHID Ballast Box
ROMlight International (Canada) Inc. offers a weatherproof, rugged and IP65 rated ROMbox remote ballast box
Ideally suited for most outdoor applications such as auto
dealerships, truck stops, gas stations, parking lots, floodlights
and other areas where remote ballast mounting is required
Advantages of the ROMbox remote mounting eHID ballast box:
- Contains a wide range of wattages-
- 175, 200, 250, 320, 350, 400, 450 watts
- Allows for remote ballasting of existing fixture bodies maintaining photometric design and certification
- Remote mounting distance of up to50 feet (15 meters)
- Knockouts for power input, control wire connection and attachment of accessories
